Arielle Scarcella said something similar when Elliot Page came out. That we've somehow "lost" a lesbian icon. While I can sorta relate to that (had a huge crush on Elliot Page growing up—he was defo a role model for me) I say we should celebrate because we are now gaining MORE trans icons!
