Came here from your skinny jeans post! Yeah I sometimes watch older movies like Mean Girls circa 2000 and it's horrendous how skinny everyone was! Not normal skinny, downright scary skinny... I'm glad people on screen these days look more normal.

I for one like skinny jeans for a whole nother reason—they make me look less short. I'm only 4'11" so I'll take what I'll get haha. I also have mostly skinny jeans that still look and fit fine, thank you very much, and I'm not about to buy a whole new wardrobe just to satisfy some trend. Besides, fashion is cyclical and I bet in 10 years or so we'll be back to skinny jeans.
