Love this. And I definitely relate to the part about us being both invisible and hypervisible. All around me, I see Asians in working-class businesses like nail salons and corner markets, and I see Asians in elite professions like medicine, engineering, law, finance etc. Yet, I see few Asians on the news, few Asians sharing their side of the story, and even fewer Asians in leadership positions.

Our first-generation immigrant ancestors taught us to keep our heads down and work hard, but now that we have more freedom, it's time we give back to them and raise our voices to be heard.
