Queer woman of colour stopping by here. Wow, this was beautifully written, but it makes me ache with sadness on the inside. It seems like male gay culture is even more toxic than straight toxic masculinity sometimes. The queer women community can be catty, but to be honest, I’ve never experienced anything even as close as this, even as a woman of colour. Maybe because women have experience being part of a marginalized community, most of us know that saying “no blacks no asians” etc. is a definite no-no.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to experience this. But you’re obviously a very skilled writer and I can sense you are also a very sweet and warm person. Thank you for sharing.
