Right you are! I think a big reason why I wasn't afraid to raise my hand is because I've been doing piano recitals since I was very little, so I'm a little more experienced with public speaking than many people. I'm aware that not everyone gets the opportunity to practice this though! Yeah it can be really nervewracking and I don't think teachers fully appreciate that.
