Thank you for writing this, Cindy. I hope that this incident, as horrible as it was, will usher in a new era of awareness and interest surrounding AAPI issues. It sickens me that it took multiple murders to get here, but perhaps our voices will finally be heard.

When I think back the incidents in my life where I've been sexually harassed, there is often a racial element. Violence against Asian women is real.
