I am continuously angry at the way people who look like me are seen as dirty, disease-ridden, and totalitarian in our governance when Asian governments have been the ones leading the way.

It’s funny that we are seen as disease-ridden, when it was the European colonizers who destroyed swaths of Indigenous populations on their quest to rule the world.

China is by no means perfect. (And to be fair, I’m usually against China’s policies.) But in this instance, it has performed comparatively well. Credit where credit is due, right?
