You completely missed the point of this article. Nowhere did she say white women liking black men / asian men liking white women etc. is ok while white men liking asian women is not.
She even explicitly explained the difference between having a preference and having a racist fetish.
There's nothing wrong with appreciating the aesthetics of certain people. The problem is when you project stereotypes—the writer made this VERY clear.
I like blondes. I dunno why, I just do. But I'm not gonna date someone just because they're blonde. I'm not gonna project the stereotype that blondes have more fun or are more wild or whatever. And I won't objectify a blonde person by staring them up and down the first time I meet them and comment on how their blondeness makes them more wild in bed.
