Yup, have experienced many of these, including the lack of assertiveness and the ghosting and alllll the drama :) Thankfully I met a wonderful partner who is assertive and confident and an absolute joy to be with. Still, we have to deal with things straight couples don't deal with. Dating is just hard, period, no matter who or what you identify as.
